The Sharks secured their spot in the upper-bracket semifinals after sweeping the Shandong Hi-Speed in the quarterfinals with a 2-0 series win. Their opponent will be determined by the winner of the Beijing Ducks versus Guangdong Southern Tigers series, which is currently tied at 1-1.
“We don’t even know who we’re playing yet, but the tickets for Game 1 of the semifinals are already gone, and Game 2 has only a handful left,” Xue said.
Ticket pricing on official platforms ranges from ¥100 for the cheapest seats to ¥2,670 for the most expensive courtside spots, with mid-tier options including ¥270, ¥470, ¥670, ¥870, and ¥2,370.
The surge in demand highlights the passionate fanbase of the Sharks, who are eager to support their team in the playoffs regardless of the opponent. The semifinal series is expected to tip off soon after the Beijing-Guangdong series concludes.
