New York Knicks guard Josh Hart didn’t hold back in criticizing Philadelphia fans after his team secured a decisive victory and punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. Hart said, “I used to think Philadelphia was a sports town. Now I’m not so sure. Everyone was begging the fans here not to sell their tickets. I never once felt like we were playing on the road.”
Tyrese Maxey, the Philadelphia 76ers’ star, was left to deal with the uncomfortable reality of his home court turning into a hostile environment. “It’s incredibly frustrating,” Maxey stated. “Frustrating in every sense of the word. There’s only one way to stop this – we had to step on the court and win those games. Their crowd was much louder here than it was at Madison Square Garden.”
